NAB authorities have also sought report of helicopter’s usage from the provincial federal government.
PESHAWAR (Dunya Information) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has shaped an inquiry committee to probe into alleged misuse of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s helicopter by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.
The committee will be headed by Dr. Naveed Haider.
In the meantime, the NAB authorities have also sought report of helicopter’s use from the provincial federal government.
On February 3, NAB chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal experienced directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Director Standard (DG) of the bureau to lodge an inquiry into private use of KP government’s helicopter by Imran Khan.
NAB spokesperson noted that NAB main has instructed KP province DG to file a report after probing alleged use of two helicopters by PTI main.
NAB quoted a report stating that Khan used MI-17 helicopter for about 22 several hours and ecureuil copter for some 52 hours.
The spokesperson even more mentioned that federal government bore bills well worth of in excess of Rs two.17 million with respect to Rs 28,000 for every hour.
Reportedly, the KP administration cited formal use and urgent mother nature of work in papers to fly Khan from parts of the province such as Haripur, Abbottabad, Swat, Nathiagali, Batagram, Peshawar, Mardan amongst other locations.
