Police launch CCTV of gentleman sought soon after tried rape of 10-yr-outdated girl

Law enforcement have issued CCTV images of a man they want to talk to in relationship with the attempted rape of a ten-yr-previous female in Manchester.

Officers say they are performing all they can to locate the gentleman accountable for the &#8220horrendous assault&#8221 at close to 2pm on Saturday in Openshaw.

After the woman grew to become separated from close friends a man approached and led her to an spot of wasteland off Kincraig Shut, where he sexually assaulted her and then tried to rape her.

She managed to flee and ran toward a canine walker who lifted the alarm.

When law enforcement had arrived they searched the area but could not locate the offender.
